On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot; it is a silly place

What to do while up at night

While I’m waiting for someone to fall asleep in the swing, I’m surfing away to get the latest trashy TV gossip since I rarely get to watch tv right now.

The season 4 project runway cast has been officially announced. For those of you who heard last season a classmate of mine from high school made it to the casting call show for season 3. Turns out he was the alternate for season 3. Well, Steven made it to season 4!!!!

I have to say, I’m so proud of him for sticking to designing. He was really good at it in high school and we lost track of each other in college. But I’m glad he stuck with it and I wish him all the best and hope he totally kicks ass!!

And on a final note, how much do you think I could get for my high school prom dress that he designed and made for me my senior year in high school? That’s got to be worth something now that he’s on reality tv? (I’m just kidding, wouldn’t get rid of that dress for anything! I still love it even though I can’t fit in it.) And I think he still owes me a black skirt.

That’s incredibly cool! I deeply admire people who can design and make clothing. What did your prom dress look like?

(Also, this is more of a professional question for you, but what do you think of the new wine law? I’d be curious to hear your opinion of it.)

It was a red jacket top with hand painted (by Steven) Japanese letters and a black skirt. I have photos of it around here some place.

New wine law sucks. And I love how they have always use the excuse of protecting the children with it. How many teens do you know to think ahead to order their booze a few days in advance online? Namely, expensive wines? None that I’ve ever met.
