…is pretty great. It’s safe to say that I’m hopelessly head-over-heels nuts about my daughter.
There are lots of great photos from the past couple of days as we’ve adjusted to life with Claire (and Claire has adjusted to life with us), but I only had time to upload this and a couple others: another shot of the two of us snuggling, and–more importantly–the cats’ curiosity beginning to win out over their fear.
Clearly, I need a new LiveJournal icon…

You look like you are holding up so well. I just remember being so tired at this point and so overwhelmed.
I’ve said before the ONLY thing that I was completely unprepared for in being a parent was that I would never want for desktop backgrounds ever again.
Being a Dad is indeed the best.

I’ve got both my home and office Macs hooked up with desklickr to suck down photos from my Flickr stream as desktop backgrounds. Pretty handy, and keeps things fresh.
I was wondering how long it was going to take for you to get a new baby LJ icon. =)
