That’s how long it took to get my exam scores.
They arrived in the mail today. And it’s a mixed bag of good and bad news, with an overall positive feeling.
Good news: Passed the theory section
Bad news: Failed the tasting section
Especially since I passed the theory section I am very happy about this result. The theory section was insane. Oddly enough the only question I did not pass on was about California.
The even better news is I only have to retake the tasting portion on this exam, not the entire exam. So I know what I will be doing this January. And darn, I’ll have to do a lot of tasting between now and January. Good thing I got breast milk alcohol detection strips.

Well done on the theory pass. Certainly the better one of the two to get out the way. Less studious revision, more tasting practice…
I wish I had passed both in one sitting, but I’m overall happy that I at least passed the theory. Now I just have more tasting to do.
