Today I discovered that I’ve been nominated for Chairman’s Awards in two categories: “Innovation” and “Team Leadership.”

Huh. Cool. :-)

    Oddly enough, we had a Survivor-themed company picnic comptetion a few years ago, when we were still fairly fresh out of our long season of periodic and highly painful layoffs. The planning folks were surprised to find out that some of us found it a bit distasteful. :-)

    The “Innovation” category nomination was actually for my whole team, all of whom deserve it more than me. But it’s nice to get noticed. :-)
