I started poking around the PyCon site today to see if they’d changed the acceptance/rejection date, and after a few moments my eyes strayed up to the site-wide masthead image. “Oh, good,” I thought to myself, “they found a PyCon photo with a woman in it. Oh, and there’s Ian Bicking; hi, Ian!” And that’s when I noticed that I was in the next photo over, cast not as the audience guy, nor the socializing guy, nor the hypnotized-by-laptop guy, but as presenter guy! Zowie! The mind boggles.

Congrats! Do you have a book deal lined up yet?
I’ll have to figure out some way to parlay it into greater glory. Lifetime movie of the week, book tour, guest appearance on Oprah… Yeah, it’ll be great!
What a stunning presenter guy! I so want to go to a pycon now!
It is a very good time, and Dallas in late February is lovely (and a nice break from Cleveland weather).

it can be very hard NOT to be more inviting than cleveland in late february.

Hi! I’ve actually been wondering how you’ve been. I’d hoped you might have been at the reunion last summer, but in this works too.
