After a very long day in NYC for a wine class, I came back to the hotel, crashed, ordered Chinese and watched a bad movie. After the movie ended I kept hearing popping noises from outside. Turns out it’s fireworks, over the water, that I could somewhat see from my hotel window!
More impressive, in honor of the 5th anniversary of September 11th, parrell to my hotel window is the World Trade sight, which they the lights pointed to the sky like they did a few years ago. I have to say, that was REALLY neat and probably the most touching 5th anniversary memorial I’ll experience.
I have a very bad cell phone camera photo of it, than they turned the lights off.

Yes and no. We chatted on the phone, but didn’t get together. She’s doing a clease this weekend.
