Assignment excitment

They posted today the 06/07 Diploma assisgnments. I’m constantly impressed by the topics they explore and depth of information they look for. My initial thoughts:

– One covers global warming, I’m slightly tempted to take the stand that global warming isn’t happening, but than again, I want to pass, so I don’t think I should go that route.
– I get to write a business plan again! I haven’t done this in a while so it’s fun to do it again.
– Drinking in my market research is going to be very interesting to do research on.

Got to run to a meeting.

Still no word on when enrollment opens again. ~sigh~

As for all the foreign language stuff, I assume you are as connected to the University scene in Cleveland as anyone can be. Out here there is a professor that organizes a regular series of conversational meetings for a range of foreign languages. They are free and meet in a cafe/bar near campus. Perhaps someone is doing something like that for Case?

Also, Meetup.com seems to have a bunch of language groups. I found this page in about 15 seconds.

I’ve looked at those options, need to do more digging, but I’m happy with a few things I’ve found to date.

I’ll be in meeting with IWC people soon due to exam, I’ll see what I can find out.
