On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot; it is a silly place

Rest, rings, studing and lots of food

We just got back from a nice weekend away in Toronto. In a quick weekend round-up:

- We had an amazing dinner at Crush Wine Bar. This place is top on the list when we go back to Toronto. I was so blown away by the wine list, I made the comment to Mike that if they offered me a job as a buyer I would take it in a hard beat.

- We saw Lord of the Rings, the Musical. Even with Peter Jackson’s version of LOTR burned into my brain, I was still blown away by this version. I highly recommend everyone go and see it. There are a few points I felt were a bit weak, but with the staging, sets, acting and even the songs, it’s very worth the trip.

- Had dinner at Beer Bistro which was very good, but the service sucked. They were way understaffed.

- On the way home we stopped a few wineries on the way home (yes, I know we had to). Angels Gate and EastDell for tasting and Lailey to grab some rose.

- I studied most of the way up and back when I wasn’t driving. Almost done with round 2.

It was nice to get away, it’s nice to be home with the girls.

I’m astounded and impressed you could study while in the car.

Glad you had a nice getaway together.

I’d love to get together with you guys sometime in the vague future. I’ve got a CD I promised to lend to Mike. :)
