The last few weeks have been nuts. And I know they will stay at the same speed till after my wine exam. But here are a few highlights:
- “Stump Liz” wine test a few weeks ago went well. I missed a few but overall did fairly well.
- I got a new client. And a few more coming in September!
- Best part of getting a new client was sitting around with others in the biz drinking wine, I got to taste 6 different Gruener-Vetliners in a row from the Terry Theise book. Talk about good prep for my exam!
- Taught a private wine class last night. Mike got to come with and it went really well. People just love this stuff.
- Down side to new job, when I’m running around tasting wine all day, at night, all you want is a beer and burger. Plus side, I start selling beer soon!
- I’m totally digging the new job. I do feel like a flea, jumping between places for work and trying to study has beeen nuts.
- I’m freaking a bit out about my upcoming exam. I got the agenda and for some reason the chapters on the agenda don’t line up with the text book I have. E-mail has been seent to them, just waiting for a response.
- I’m walking around all day with notecards studying for my exam, I look a bit freaky, but want to be as best prepped as possible. I’ve also managed to outline the entire text book. Took 4 notepads, but it’s done.
- When this exam is all done, I’m going to have to play with martini recipes, have some cordials I need to start selling.
- Also, when this is all done, anyone interested in getting together to party?
Back to the books.
- Mood:
tired

Wow; initially I read “trying to study has been nuts” to mean you were attempting to learn about lunatics who are past their prime… and I wondered what that had to do with wine.
Totally. If only you and Mike were going to be in NYC a couple more nights, we could paint the town red!
Gimme a holler if you have plans to visit my part of the country, k?
