Upon actual installation and some play time, Google Earth is just as frickin’ cool (if not more so) as I thought.
Unfortunately, my 5-year-old desktop machine here at work doesn’t have very much oomph–specifically, it doesn’t even have a “supported” video card–so it is dog slow and essentially unusable for me.
Double-unfortunately, I don’t think that “can’t run Google Earth” is going to fly as a reason to get me a new Windows box.
