Last night we were watching NBC Nightly News. Brian Williams said a phrase that I never ever would have thought I’d ever hear in my life, especially on a half hour news program. They were talking about the Recently discovered mummy and he said, I kid you not “mummy bling”.
Since I know I set trends world wide (yeah right), I offically say bling is now OUT and can not die a quick enough death. Yes, the mummy is very cool, but bling? *sigh*

That’s nothing. The other day I saw a TV commercial for what was basically a Bedazzler, except that it was sicker based and not, um… rivet based, or what ever Bedazzler was. Anywho, it had the standard production values of one of those crappy “as-seen-on-TV” ads, and was marketed as “Bling-something-or-other”. Anyway, the ad was like 2 13-ish year old white girls and a 40 year old white woman simply ecstatic that they could now “get their bling on.” It was painful.
I’ve heard about it. Haven’t seen the ads. You know it’s bad when the Bedazzler is back.
