On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot; it is a silly place

Yesterday I had no power at the house while they switched out the electric box. That sucked. I really felt like I had cabin fever by the end of the day. No phone, no internet, couldn’t leave the house cause meeting with a few people and timing wouldn’t have worked. But we have power back now!

Last night Mike and I went to a Food Forum dinner to Carrie Cerino’s in North Ridgeville. Interesting place, very much decorated like the hotel resturant was when I was a little kid. The toast of the even was the special Blue Egg Ravioli. If you’ve seen Iron Chef America, the egg battle, than you have an idea of what this is. Pasta made out of goose eggs, so it’s very soft. Inside, a 3 cheese mixture, with a fresh raw egg yolk in the middle. It’s cooked for a minute, so the egg stays raw in the middle, so when you cut into it the yolk becomes the sauce. Unbelieveable! I’d highly recommend trying it, but it’s not on the menu, it was a special item for us. Oh, and the eggs are made by very special chickens that are right in the area. (Kitchen get done cause I want some rockin’ eggs.)

So we didn’t get home till very late last night.

On a totally random thought. Best part of working at home, shorts, t-shirt, no shoes. Ahh, this is good.

I often didn’t wear shoes in the office, but I got funny looks all the time.

I didn’t get dressed until noon today. Then I made potato salad from scratch. That’s been about it today. :)
