My birthday gift from Mike and Andy and Lauren arrived today! Mike got me a new knife block to hold all our knives. For Christmas I exchanged a gift from my mom for Santoku knife set. But my knife block was too small to hold it, so he got me a 25 slot block and a come-apart kitchen scissors. Andy and Lauren got me a subscription to Saveur Magazine.
So, now I have an extra 8 slot knife block. Anyone need one?

I do! I do! (I keep my Sebatier knives most attractively in a toolbox on the floor.)
