While picking up lunch I got hit by a car, note: I got hit, not my car, me, personally. I walked over to the ATM at 5/3 by Aladdin’s and a woman in the car behind me started to lecture me about how you are not allowed to walk up to the ATM. She pulled WAY forward when it was my turn to pressure me into leaving. I finished what I had to do and then moved forward to let her pull up. And she hit me. It wasn’t hard, more like a push on my leg. I walked into the bank to complain and they wanted to call the police. When I went back out to get her plate, she floored it out of there.
Two police cars show up AND an ambulance. Had to convience them I didn’t need to go to the hospital. Did all the paper work, picked up food and came back to work.
Now, that’s a lunchtime adventure.

Are you okay?
Did you get her plate? Can bank help identify her? Even if you’re not (badly) hurt, semi-deliberately hitting pedestrians isn’t exactly legal.
What a wench! There’s no law that you can’t walk up to a drive-up ATM. I’ve done it dozens of times.
Why do people have to be so nasty? I hope you did get her plate!
Holy crap!
Glad you’re not seriously hurt.
Yeah, I used to go to the BankOne ATM at the corner there on Bellfield. Noone ever gave me crap about it. I did feel a bit like an idiot though, but that’s my own damn problem.
The plate I got wasn’t totally right. The police said they would get her info from the bank. Tomoorrow I’ll follow-up the the police to make sure they got her info.
(bitch)
i hope she gets what she deserves… and i bet the whole thing was recorded on video camera…. hahahahaha…
dude, cars are big and heavy… legs are not…. even the gentlest tap from a car can do damage…. i’m sure mo can elaborate on the physics of car vs. leg… i’m glad nothing happened to your legs…. after all you’ve been doing to get them in shape.
sheesh… bitch.
