My mom asked me this morning how the South Park Diet was going. It’s the South BEACH Diet, not the South PARK Diet. What would the South Park Diet be anyway? Pot pie, cheezy poofs, cake and pie?
Anyways, I’m doing pretty good on the diet. 4.5 pounds down in a week. I haven’t been 100% good (over did it on sugar free choclate on friday, had a few more nuts than i should have had this weekend, and had some fruit with my salad on saturday) but it’s been going really good over all. Mike’s loving what all I’ve been cooking so that’s good.

YAY!!!!
So, what’s for dinner?
What exactly IS the South Beach Diet? When I think of South Beach, I think of corn dogs and root bear… which I’m guessing isn’t part of the plan.
Not anywhere near corn dogs and root beer.
The quick version is first two weeks, no carbs, fruit, high fat food (duck, full fat cheese, milk, etc.) or sugar. This is to break the carb-cravings. After that you start adding back in complex carbs, fruit etc.
More information.
If I have time to pick up fish on my way home, than we’ll have fish. Other wise, a gingered chicken breast, left over veggies and tomato salad.
YEAH!!! I want cheezy poofs!!!!
No, Sally Struthers, that’s a BAD SALLY STRUTHERS!!
