On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot; it is a silly place

My niece Christine will be visiting Mike and I this weekend. She’s 13, any suggestions on what to do with her?

How does she feel about weeding?

How about a Bat Mitzvah? OY!

Or you could pump her full of Anime till she explodes.

I took my little sister to Pelee Island, if you remember. She might like going to good old FORIGEN Canada. And there’s a winery there, so you and Liz would be happy. This is of course, assuming you can handle the (perhaps) choppy boat ride across the lake.

Or Cedar Point, if you’re up for that sort of stuff.

    Or GLSC.

Marie and I were thinking of going to Swings-N-Things this weekend; maybe a 13-year old girl would like that. We’ve gone once before, and had fun playing minigolf and riding the go-karts. :)

LOL about the anime… We’ll probably watch Nausicaa, because she was in the middle of watching it when she had to hit the road the last time they were passing through. She loves Totoro and Kiki, and was really curious about our Nausicaa cels, since she saw the obvious Miyazaki character stylings in them.

I know that we are apparently not allowed to take her skydiving, bungee jumping, rock climbing, or allow her to get anything pierced or tattooed. I would be up for Cedar Point, maybe, though I am scared of the lines for the new ride. Of course I did barf my guts up there when I went on Raptor right after a nice greaseball lunch, so maybe I should avoid the Point in general.
