For my event on May 5 & 6 we usually give out one cool electronic toy. In the past we have done a palm pilot, playstation 2, walkie-talkies. Any suggestions for this year?
If you do that, make sure you get the Game Boy Advance SP, which I’m pretty sure is what Mike is referring to. There’s also a standard Game Boy Advance, which is considerably less cool. The SP is backlit, more compact, and it folds in half (the same way that many cell phones do). Plus it comes in a sleek metallic silver color. It’s a sexy little toy.
Yes, that’s the one. One of my coworkers has one at his desk today, and I had no idea how small and cute and nifty it was. Very cool, and certainly the right size for all those spiffy business types to carry around with them while they’re waiting to talk to VC’s.
Yeah, that’s also a very good idea. Even at the current pricing, a 5 gigger is only $300, the same price as that Playstation 2 that you got two years ago. You could also go with one of the Archos Jukeboxes, which do 20 gigs for $220.

GameBoy Advance: Backlit, $100ish, cool.

*cough*iPod*cough*
Apple is probably releasing new ones in about a week, so the old ones will have a price drop, methinks.

How about a SlimP3?
Or one of these?
