Monday Vacation Update

Since last time:

  • Print, stuff, address, and affix stamps to holiday cards — done!
  • Holiday cards to the mail — done!
  • Get back on the workout wagon — done! (And feels good!)
  • Wash/dry jeans — done!
  • Get much overdue haircut — done!
  • Extended FotR, etc. from last post — done!
  • Lunch with Liz at Mongolian BBQ — done!
  • Buy Christmas gifts for Pixel — done!
  • Wrap remaining gifts — done!
  • Continue mixing & burning CD’s for Cathe — making progress.
  • Buy replacement hair drier — done!
  • Buy curtain hooks for living room — done!
  • Miscellaneous and barely noticeable yet somehow vitally important cleanup — done!
  • Take out skunky trash — done!
  • Determine optimal location for mounting curtain hooks — in progress.
  • Unwrap CD’s from Saturday’s excursion to My Generation — done!
  • Marvel at all the goodies (DVD, map, cute stickers, psuedo-Polaroids) in the deluxe edition of the new Tori Amos CD — done! (Note with special delight her side-trip to my home town in Durango, CO…)
  • Read lyrics and liner notes for all new CD’s — done.
  • Award self five points for spotting gratuitous Neil Gaiman reference in lyrics of Tori’s new album — done.
  • Listen to the Mike Oldfield “Boxed” set (3 CD’s) in its entirety in one sitting — almost done.
  • Snack — done! Yum!
  • Check LJ throughout the day — ongoing.
  • Put away huge piles of CD’s that were cluttering up the office — done!
  • Take stickers off of things (curse you, Borders, and curse you, Half-Price Books!) — done.
  • More games of mousie with Pixel — ongoing.
  • Start writing list of CD’s to duplicate & put into big CD player of doom for permanent easy access — just starting.
  • Consider cooking dinner eventually — still to do.
  • Be glad day was not spent in little grey box — oh hell yeah!
  • Update LJ — done! ;-)
