On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot; it is a silly place

Start researching how to sync her Palm with TiBook — in progress.

Buy USB<->Serial adaptor. Download iSync. Rejoice.

This *should* work, if it does, tell me, as this is one of my concerns if/when I buy a i/Ti -Book. Of course, you could run your favourite Linux/Unix Palm conduit (GNOME-pilot, pilot-link, jpilot, etc.) under XDarwin. :-)

Acquired a USB <-> serial adapter today actually. Kind of annoyed that there is not any legacy Palm gear still in stores. Bah, humbug.

Going to download iSync this week and try it out with my Palm — since I haven’t used it regulary for ages and ages, I figure it’s safer to experiment with mine than with hers. I have heard a lot of negative comments about iSync (the Apple message boards are littered with complaints about reliability, speed, etc.), which really all stem from it being a little more beta than it should be. But it does look pretty slick, and I have heard a few people say that for them at least it works like a charm, so I am going to give it a whirl. I’ll let you know how it works out! :-)

Totally unrelated, I need to get your snailing address. Can you email it to me? Thanks!
